Do you want to be healthier?

Do you want to save money?

Do you want to know what your body needs

to heal naturally?

If you answered Yes to the above questions than please continue reading.

This website is designed to do one thing
support you on your road to health

I have an online consultation free of charge.  Upon your submittal of the questionaire I return to you a recommendation of what vitamin supplements to buy and the logic supporting that recommendation.   Your case is intended to be managed ongoingly until resolution of the problem.  There are no appointments that you need to wait a long time to see the Doctor for.  There are no lines.  There is no paying just to be seen by the Doctor.  There IS direction, hope, peace of mind, a natural holistic approach, security, and efficiency.
The process is simple.
Click <here> to download your questionnaire.  This is equivalent to your Doctor’s exam.  If the condition is beyond my ability or scope of practice to advice you, you will be made aware of that.

Do you want to be healthier?

In healing, we may feel the need to weigh out all our options and take the best course of action!  We may at some point in our lifes be faced with a dilemma or a decision to make regarding our health.  One thing is for sure, that we will always benefit when our body’s own inherent innate intelligence is strengthened.  If we give the body the building blocks it needs to strengthen, not only to fight the condition or to reverse the disease process, but to lessen the severity of the side effects of the conventional medicine we do use.   These building blocks lie in pure unadulterated highly nutritious food, free of the toxins(pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, heavy metals, and solvents) that tax our bodies.  I use food to heal, often times in doses that it would be too difficult to eat that amount and too difficult to get the best source of it.   That problem is solved with Whole Food Supplements.

Do you want to save money?

Because I will advise you on the specific vitamins you need so you don’t need to spend excess money on something that will not work for you.  I will give you that direction.  The vitamin business with GNC, Vitamin World, etc is over 2 billion dollars in sales.  I would not mind if they were selling quality, but I am quite confident they are only selling quantity.  And it always is the consumer who pays for it not just with their money, but with their health.

Do you want to know what your body needs to heal naturally?

Through questions I can do my best to know what is your most underlying health issue.  Then I can recommend nutrition in a specific way to address that underlying health issue.  I will also tell you why you are being recommended what you will be recommended.  I will also tell you how much of the vitamin to take.  This is valuable information that I believe the public is not getting from their doctor. The following information is taken directly from the Standard Process Website which is www.standardprocess.com.

The Importance of Whole Food Supplements

Nutritional Supplementation: Isolated or Whole Food?
Nutritional supplementation is a common term used frequently when it comes to health and wellness but what does it really mean, and how do you know if you need it or not?
Some people try to get the nutrients missing in their diets by taking traditional vitamin supplements, which are isolated mega doses of a select few nutrients. But individual vitamins or multi-vitamins don't supply the vast assortment of antioxidants and other phytonutrients our bodies need.
As a nation, we eat poor-quality foods that have been stripped of nutrients.  We do not consume enough fresh fruits and vegetables.  Many of us get our whole grains from instant rice, refined wheat breads, pastas, and cereal. We eat a tremendous amount of prepackaged, pre-made meals. One-quarter of Americans eat at fast food restaurants each day. Americans are overfed and undernourished.

We eat plenty but we are still starving
The foods we eat are not providing our bodies with the nutrition it needs to survive and be healthy. We are starving our bodies and we are sick. We suffer from diabetes, heart attacks, obesity, and the list goes on and on.
There is good news
Given proper nutrition, the human body has an amazing ability to heal itself. If properly fed and given the right nutrients, the human body is designed to repair itself. To do so, we need to eat a healthier diet, exercise, and take high-quality supplements made from whole foods. Whole food supplements supply our bodies with nutrients we are not getting from our diet, all the vitamins, minerals, trace minerals, and phytonutrients that foods possess in a way that nature intended, in a whole food form.
Only whole food supplements complete the nutritional gap
Whole food supplements are made by concentrating foods for use in supplements. When processed correctly, they supply a multitude of the plant's components. Foods provide nutrients that work synergistically. They work together to provide you with optimal nutrition for good health.

Understanding Supplement Labels

There are many different kinds of supplements on the market, and it can be very confusing to determine the true value of a supplement.  Understanding the label will help you know if you are taking a quality supplement.

Where do the nutrients come from?

Look at the ingredients on the food label. Do you recognize any of them?  Just like any other food label, the nutrients are listed in a particular order and some manufacturers put the source next to the nutrient. In a quality, wholesome product, you will recognize and be able to pronounce most of the ingredients on the label.

What is the importance of whole food ingredients?

Only whole food ingredients can provide you with all the nutrients contained within the food, rather than just isolated components. For example, in brand B (left) the sixth ingredient is dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate. This is not a food ingredient.  It is an isolated component of the vitamin E complex. If you were to take a supplement with just dl-alpha tocopheryl, you would be missing at least five other important nutrients as well as hundreds of other nutrients that occur within the whole vitamin E complex. These nutrients are only available by consuming natural, whole food forms of vitamin E, such as wheat germ oil, pea vine, green leafy vegetables, nuts, sunflower seeds.

To be effective, don't I need to get at least 100% of the daily value?

We often think that more is better. However, when choosing supplements, quality is far more important than quantity. A small amount of a vitamin in whole food form is far more effective in the human body than a large dose of an isolated vitamin. This is because the isolated form is just a fraction of the whole and is missing important nutrients that the body needs.  Taking more of the isolated form will not make up for its deficiencies.

Two Basic Types of Nutritional Supplements – A Comparison

Brand A (whole food supplement)

Brand B (isolate-based supplement)
Calcium Carbonate, Magnesium Oxide, Potassium Chloride, Cellulose, Ascorbic Acid, dl-alpha Tocopheryl Acetate, Acacia, Croscarmellose Sodium, Zinc Oxide, Dicalcium Phosphate, Stearic Acid, Dextrin, Titanium Dioxide, Niacinamide, Silicon Dioxide, Hypromellose, Gelatin, Soy Extract, Magnesium Stearate, Calcium Silicate, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Manganese Sulfate, Polyethylene Glycol, Corn Starch, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Mannitol, Cupric Oxide, Resin, Lecithin, Riboflavin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Vitamin A Acetate, Chromium Chloride, Folic Acid, Dextrose, Beta Carotene, FD&C Red #40 Lake, FD&C Blue #2 Lake, Sodium Selenate, Biotin, Phytonadione, Cyanocobalamin, Ergocalciferol.
In Brand A, vitamins and nutrients are derived mainly from recognizable food sources. In Brand B, the vitamins and nutrients are man-made chemical isolates not recognized as food sources.

The Key Is High-Quality Ingredients

Nutritional scientists are continually discovering what we at Standard Process have taught and practiced since 1929: Micronutrients, both known and unknown, found only in whole foods are more essential to health than selected vitamins and minerals taken away from their complete food matrix.
Our product formulas contain unique combinations of whole foods (whole plants, animal tissue extracts and concentrates, and botanicals), which contain essential vitamins, phytonutrients, and minerals to provide optimal health for your patients. Ingredients are selected for their specific supportive effects in metabolism.

Flowering pea vine

Whole Plants
Plants like pea vine, beets, buckwheat, and alfalfa provide vitamins and phytonutrients.
Animal Tissue Extracts and Concentrates
The animal tissues in our products (Protomorphogen™ and Cytosol™ brand extracts and whole desiccates) provide many essential nutritional compounds, including amino acid and enzyme complexes and essential fatty acids to support the corresponding tissues in humans.

Crimson clover

Botanicals provide important factors that contribute additional organ and glandular support by complementing the vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and tissue concentrates found in foods. For example, silymarin found in Silybum marianum has been shown to provide significant hepatic protection and support.†

Protomorphogen™ Brand Extracts

Continuing the pioneering work of Dr. Royal Lee, certain Standard Process products contain specific Protomorphogen™ brand extracts. Protomorphogen™ brand extracts provide an important adjunct for nutritional support of cellular function. In the 1940s, Dr. Royal Lee pioneered a unique method of deriving extracts, which contain what he called cell determinants, from specific organs and glands for clinical use. Dr. Lee believed that these cell determinants functioned in cell regulation, maintenance, and interaction with tissue antibodies.
As described by Dr. Lee, Protomorphogen™ brand extracts play an important role in cellular support and rehabilitation. They provide critical cell factors that help re-establish normal cell function. In addition to the potential role in regulating metabolism, Protomorphogen™ brand extracts can be essential components for nutritional support of dysfunctional cells.

It is important to note that Protomorphogen™ extracts differ in manufacture and application from what are commonly referred to as glandulars. Because these extracts have distinct clinical applications and effects, they should not be confused with glandulars, nor should they be referred to simply as protomorphogens. Protomorphogen™ is the trademark owned and used by Standard Process Inc. as a brand name assigned to these uniquely derived extracts. PMG™ is another trademark owned and used by Standard Process Inc. as another brand name for these extracts, which is used when referring to a specific organ or gland.
Cytosol™ Brand Extracts
Cytosol™ brand extracts are derived from the cytoplasm of selected organs and glands. These extracts contain cellular factors such as enzymes, hormone precursors, and synergistic cofactors that are biochemical building blocks essential to cellular metabolism in their respective tissues. Cytosolic components offer significant clinical benefits and work synergistically with Protomorphogen™ extracts in the support of organs and glands.
Cytosol™ is the trademark owned and used by Standard Process Inc. as the brand name for these uniquely derived cytosolic extracts and should not be mistaken for or used in place of glandulars.
Whole Desiccates
Whole desiccates are glands that have been vacuum dried in our low-temperature, high-vacuum dryers, providing the entire nutritional contents of the organ in a concentrated form.

Some Questions People Have

Is Standard Process an MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) Company?

No.  Standard Process sells exclusively through health care professionals. Standard Process has been around since 1929 founded by Dr. Royal Lee, the father of whole food nutrition.  Today, thousands of Medical Doctors, Naturapaths, Chiropractors, Accupuncturists, and many more professions prescribe and/or recommend Standard Process.  Standard Process does not advertise to the consumer or put their products on health food store shelves.  Seminars are given almost every weekend by the top Clinical Nutritionists in the world who teach Doctors how to most powerfully treat their patients.

Do these vitamin supplements replace medicine?

No.  They support your body’s systems and give it the building blocks needed in order to create better health.  Medicine has its place.  Holisitic Health Care also has its place.  One does not replace the other.

How do I know when a vitamin is synthetic?  One tell tale sign is when you see the ingredients like 833%, 1666%, 5000% of the RDA.

If that was a true vitamin it would be the size of a grapefruit or a basketball.  Another sign is the vitamins are listed as components.  Vitamin C as Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin E as Alpha Tocopherol, Vitamin D and Cholecalciferol.  These are isolated parts.  See Understanding Labels above.

What is the difference between whole food supplements and synthetic vitamins anyway?

I use Standard Process Whole Food Vitamins.  I use them because they are not synthetic vitamins.  Synthetic vitamins that you see on the shelves of health food stores are misleading and heavily marketed.  They meet the language requirements of the FDA but do not meet the functional requirements of a vitamin complex.  For example:  Ascorbic Acid is a small component of Vitamin C.  It is not the healing aspect of vitamin C.  The FDA allows Vitamin C to be ascorbic acid and sold into megadose pills.  Most commercial nutritional companies jump on the opportunity to sell you the megadose pills and convince you more is better.  It is in my strong opinion that more is worse.  In fact, harmful.  Standard Process uses Buckwheat which is extremely high in the Vitamin C complex, dehydrates it and minimally processes it to keep the Integrity intact, and makes that into a tablet.  Now the Holistic Doctor has the ability to use appropriate dosing of the Vitamin C complex.  In a nutshell, whole food supplements are good for the body, are well assimilated, and contain the functional healing aspects of the vitamin.  Synthetic Vitamins do not contain the most important aspects of the vitamin.
Is this an anti-medical campaign?  No, Its an awareness campaign.  It is a campaign with no hidden motives or agendas hidden behind beautiful labels created to entice you.  I am not anti-medical.   I am anti-medical abuse and hidden agendas based in financial reward at the expense of the public’s health.  I do not always agree with medical philosophy or practices.
